I wonder why you call me a moron. There is no way in the world you would say that to me to my face. And I can’t find any examples of me whining. And I have yet to use cheap insults to anyone on the site, even when they have used them against me.
I will admit that I probably shouldn’t have repeated the same thing over and over – I thought my thoughts would get lost in the shuffle otherwise, and I just pasted the words in wherever someone had said something to me. I am not used to this sort of format.
The thing is, we didn’t have a job resource fair for illegal immigrants – we just didn’t. It never entered our mind. We did not do what this site says we did at all. If this were happening to you, you would be equally frustrated, and it would be a drag to have strangers who cannot see you hurl bizarre insults at you.
We had a goofy little event to help people connect with resources available to them in our little town. The reporter talked to one person without our permission and made a big deal out of his pet issue. Do you not know that the press skews the facts? It happens every day, all the time, all over the world. This is what happened to us.
So, as for answering your questions, they don’t pertain to me because I did not do what you are accusing me of doing. The Fair was exactly for the 16M Americans out of work that you mentioned. That’s who it was for and that’s who came. My primary goal in life is to follow Jesus and know God’s will for my life.
The station manager at WHSV-TV who ran the story has apologized repeatedly to us and have taken the spot down – check their site – it was March 20 – it’s not there. They are talking with our director about how best to make it right.
It seems like you long for a better and more just world, but letting the press manipulate us against each other to the point where we insult our fellow citizens without even thinking about trusting them over the very powerful and easy to manipulate media, is not going to make the world a better place.
I will forgive you for your insults, for the sake of my Lord. I hope that you will ask God to show you how to put your passion and desire for justice to productive use for His Kingdom.
